Vintage
Herbaceous and capsicum flavorings demonstrate their presence at the initial taste, followed by a firm tannin texture that culminates in a prolonged aftertaste. Nuances of blackberry and satsuma plum distinguish this 2017 Jen's Block Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.

  • Colour

    Deep red/ purple hues.

  • Aroma

Blackberry and blackcurrant evident at first and followed by satsuma plum characters.

  • Palate

Herbaceous, capsicum flavours at the front palate. Blackberry and satsuma plum characters are supported by firm tannins leading to a lingering finish.

  • James Halliday Review

Made by the omniscient Mike Farmilo, who suddenly seems to be everywhere across my recent tastings. He makes a bit of wine in the region, so to speak. Hand picked, open fermented and a meagre 10 days on skins. Why not longer? Cabernet is about real tannin. Yet it all works well in a fairly soft, polished fashion. Cassis, green olive, verdant herb and a scrub of sage-laden tannins. Long and plush.
