Very attractive dark red colour.

Nose

Distinctive McLaren Vale Cabernet. Sauvignon aroma with ripe mulberries and cassis with a touch of cedar and coffee oak adding complexity.

Palate

From the very good 2012 vintage. Full-flavoured, full-bodied, rich fruit flavours in the middle and those distinctive Cabernet tannins providing a long and definitive finish.

16 months in predominately French and American oak hogsheads.
