Attractive deep red-black colour.

Rich and complex – spicy fruit and barrel maturation produce a more evolved character.

Berry flavours and oak tannins give a balanced palate that is lovely drinking now but will continue to develop and evolve in the bottle. Typical of the cooler Blewitt Springs sub-region, this wine is more elegant and subtle on the palate. A long and satisfying mouth feel.

24 months in first and second year French oak hogsheads.

Drinking well now, but has the capacity to develop and soften with further time in the bottle. A very reliable wine from a hot/dry and trying vintage in McLaren Vale.
